Future Civil Engineer & Construction Management Professional

My Career Goals

My passion for construction management and civil engineering developed while working hands-on with my uncle at Blue Shore Builders—where I helped build a first-floor shower for a disabled senior citizen—and alongside my father in our family moving business at Supreme Relocations. These experiences revealed how construction blends physical problem-solving, creative design, and real community impact, perfectly aligning with my mindset that I’ve already applied to growing my @nolesmania sports media page to over 3,260 followers. Accepted into Tallahassee State College’s Aspire to FSU program, I am pursuing a B.S. in Civil Engineering with a focus on Construction Management, and my ultimate goal is to earn my General Contractor (GC) license so I can launch my own entrepreneurial general contracting firm dedicated to sustainable, community-driven building solutions.

My education Path

"obstacles don’t define my capabilities"

Throughout my education, I’ve always had to put in maximum effort because school and studies don’t come easily to me in most subjects—I’m the kind of student who thrives through consistent hard work rather than natural ease. Despite earning a spot on the 2022 Principal’s List, test anxiety has been a persistent challenge that clouds my comprehension of questions under pressure, often preventing my grades from fully reflecting the knowledge I’ve learned. Accepted into Tallahassee State College’s Aspire to FSU program, I’m now channeling that same determination into pursuing a B.S. in Civil Engineering with a focus on Construction Management, knowing that my success will continue to depend on disciplined study habits, practical application, and pushing past obstacles that don’t define my capabilities.

My Community service

"my service has shaped who I am today"

My community service has shaped me through various experiences totaling more than 100 volunteer hours for organizations like Trinity Lutheran and EdVenture Charter School, where I tackled campus cleanup, landscaping, and classroom setup helping to create better learning environments. I also created all social media content for EdVenture’s 2025-26 school year and, through Blue Shore Builders, helped construct a first-floor shower for a disabled senior citizen—a project that opened my eyes to my love of construction and how it combines my creativity with the enjoyment of working with my hands.  To me volunteering is a fun and rewarding way to engage with the community and share my leadership and creativity.

extracurricular activitie

"I mastered teamwork under pressure"

My extracurricular activities have grown my leadership and resilience. As starting point guard for Saint John Paul II’s basketball team (2022-23) and support attack on lacrosse, I mastered teamwork under pressure. Founding and managing @nolesmania—an FSU sports media page with 3,260+ followers since 2023—taught me commitment, creativity, and the power of digital networking. All of my experiences have combined athletic discipline, content creation, and community impact—making me who I am today ready for college and beyond.
